2021 University Commitments

The Barrie Soccer Club is proud to announce our most recent University Commitments for 2021 CONGRATULATIONS to Everyone!

Salena Devellis of the Barrie SC 2003G – Commitment to Carleton University

Salena has played with the Barrie SC since she was the age of 4.

She is a co-captain of her Barrie 2003G team and was an integral part of the Barrie SC 2003G Ontario Cup Championship scoring both goals in the Finals.

Salena was awarded the Barrie SC Youth Volunteer award in 2018. She continues to be a goal scoring and physical threat for her Barrie SC 2003G team.

Lauren McConnell of the Barrie SC 2003G – Commitment to Bowling Green University

Lauren has played with the Barrie SC since 2016.

She has been an important piece for the Barrie SC 2003G team, helping win an Ontario Cup Championship, and two Regional Championships.

Lauren is an offensive force with her explosive speed and technical ability.

Cierra Bedford of the Barrie SC 2003G – Commitment to Carleton University

Cierra has played for the Barrie SC since she was the age of 8.

She has been a very important player for the Barrie SC 2003G team, helping the team win an Ontario Cup Championship and two Regional Championships.

Cierra is a diverse player with the capability to play both an attacking or defending role.

Nathalie Hoppe of the Barrie SC 2003G – Commitment to Tennessee Tech University

Nathalie has played for the Barrie SC since she was the age of 4.

She is a co-captain of the Barrie SC 2003G, and helped lead her team to an Ontario Cup Championship and two Regional Championships.

Nathalie dominates the center of the pitch, with her dynamic vision and creativity.
